Visual Clarity and On-Death Effects Feel Like They're Getting Out of Hand Again

Basically title.

My number 1 complaint about PoE 1 has always been how ridiculous the visual clutter became, on top of multiple on-death effects while trying to loot etc...

I wouldn't say it's as bad as PoE 1, but the fact this is only EA and there's going to be more skills, more mobs/juicing etc...later on has me worried.

Hopefully this is something the devs keep in mind when polishing the finished product.

I feel they are worse than PoE 1 atm.

Have you played sorc + fireball + more projectiles? I cant see shit in poe2.

No, but I've seen videos here and there, and yes, it does look kind of insane.

One of the things I was excited about when seeing the earlier reveal vids was that boss fights looked so much more clear and easier to see where they are....less flashing auras too.
There needs to be an option to simplify skill effects, both enemy and self. Preferably seperate toggles. Dunno how much that would help, but that's the only thing *I* can come up with ^^

I've been asking for game toggles to either simplify VFX or at least turn off the MTX of others so they don't inflict their MTX on me.
basic fire spells already make it hard to see much of anything and we aren't even on powercreep status yet.

I'm here to play with others and i'd like to be able to see them on my screen please.
Innocence forgives you
My biggest issue right now are the small purple balls, which aren't an on-death effect I think. Very often obscured, way too oppressive and they can one or two shot you.

When you get a map with like one corridor or walkway, it just leads to completely unfair deaths and it breeds a seed of dislike with the game.

To be very honest, I am very disappointed the devs chose not to invest time into providing toggles for individual skill effects, to lessen them, and more importantly, to greatly reduce or turn off certain added effects within a party.

I have lost count how many times I have died because the effects are so overwhelming, I can't even see my character, let alone all the death effects and monster effects to know if I need to evade or move out of a death circle.

How is it other APRG games offer this, but POE can't be bothered to do something that is very important? Do the devs really believe that "more" effects filling your screen is somehow something the players want?

I really hope they listen to this feedback among other ones, this game needs a lot of work yet.

Limiting players to only able to use 1 support gem in your entire build is also beyond silly. I had more fun in POE 1 even with all the links you had to do, but could use multiples of the same support gems.

POE 2 feels very watered down in terms of how you can actually build a character compared to POE 1.
