One Portal - SC vs. HC

Hi fellow exiles,

on character creation a player gets a choice:
HC vs. SC
perma-death vs. relaxed more casual gameplay

Nowaday in SC players are faced with several league mechanics and or mechanics (ascending) that punish the player for dying.

Ascendancy trials (Sanctum/Ultimatum) especially because you have to restart and even refarm the keys to enter it again. At least you "only" have to complete them once.

Dying in maps during content like delirium, breach, ritual and so on also makes you loose the content, because if you could have reentered the map the content will be closed/despawned etc.

Single portal gameplay now kind of forces you to pause and leave to character screen in SC, just like HC players, if you dont want to loose your juiced map.

Dying and loosing the map forces you now to enter a map that has just some mobs and no mechanics just to progress in the atlas.

SC now feels like HC light.

On top of that the portal is not instant. if it were instant i would have the chance to leave the map whenever i am in danger to refill life/flasks etc.
Since the player is slow as a slug and almost all enemies are faster its hard to get distance to get your portal up.

Group play is also kind of meh now, if you play with a friend and one of you dies, the other has to clear the map solo while the other one waits outside...
