0 dodge ruined the boss fights
|
I beat act 3 as merc before the recent body block and dodge updates, and now restarted as witch. I noticed already Asinia in the cemetary and the mad wolf Act 1 boss have become trivially easy dodging out of the bone walls where before you need to destroy them first.
I hope GGG will address this I had an epic time fighting those bosses and the bone wall blocks were part of the intense experience. Now it's just stupid that you can roll out of the walls completely diminish the immersion and experience especially for newcomers. I hope GGG be more careful catering to a minority noisy complaints that will slowly creep across and turn POE2 campaign as trivial as POE1. It's a slippery slope. Whoa now buddy. There were no noisy minority you need to be taking shots at. There was a problem, and unfortunetly GGG is lazy af when it come to solving problems or even making games apparently. Thats the real issue. Lets focus on who's actually at fault and stop taking shots at each other. THe definition of difficult is not accomplished by lazy mechanics that cause insta deaths. Lets get it straight.

" You mean people who actually have a life, unlike you apparently who just keeps taking shots at everyone on this forum trying to get things fixed? |
|
" Hey the point here is at this current state the dodge diminished the experience of some of the boss fights to the point it's almost stupid like what's the point of a bone wall even. |

Go into High maps,
play as proper melee melee, pull mobs, get spammed by their abilities and on death abilities, backline ranged and caster abilities, get stuck on a wall because of a poor visibility and inability to scale it, even tho all the mobs are attacking you from downstairs over the obstacles, Die, Lose map and investment - repeat. |
|
" I hope they can find a middle ground. Some size between 0 and 1. And allow character rolling to push single smaller monsters. Would be enough imho. |

100% agree. I haven't been surrounded since they made that change. If they want you to have to approach combat tactically, you need to get punished for letting yourself get surrounded. I think adjusting monster movement speed would be a better approach if they want to reduce the frequency of surrounds rather than functionally removing the mechanic from the game.

Just a bug that needs fixed. Snake queen bone walls still trap you in the arena.
