Loot disappeared when dying after killing Rathbreaker

Pretty simple, I killed Rathbreaker in Act2 Cruel and died to the lance guys afterwards. When I came back all the lance guys disappeared together with the boss loot. Not that I am hurt that it disappeared but it looks like a bug to me.
