Cast On Freeze - Not Enough Spirit - 186 Unreserved

I have a bug where I can't activate cast on freeze. It says I don't have enough spirit. I have 186 spirit unreserved with no other auras. Cast on freeze has no gems socketed in it. Weirdly, when I unsocket and resocket the gem, it says I should have enough spirit, but then I right click the aura and it instantly disables and says not enough spirit, even though I still have 186 unreserved.

Before this I was trying to tinker with setting up Cast on Freeze on weapon slot 2 and Cast on Shock on Weapon Slot 1. It didn't work, so I got rid of cast on shock and decided to try out the Three Dragons unique helmet. Suddenly, my auras all bugged out. I tried replacing all my gems and all my gear. Nothing is working.

I've tried fixing this for an hour with no success but I'm worried I bricked my character.

Hi, in the video you dont have any gems put into the sockets of the Cast on Freeze. Try putting the spell there and seeing if the issue is fixed. The error message "not enough spiit" is a bit misleading, but it actually just points out that you dont have a spell socketed into the CoF skill gem. (you do it in the same way as adding support gems but with a skill gem).

I tried it with and without gems socketed. But I actually found a fix. If I remove my weapon from weapon slot one and equip it to weapon slot 2, Cast on Freeze works again. I think it's just bugged on weapon slot 1.

This only happened after I was trying to associate different auras with different weapon slots, in order to swap between them. I think that's what caused the bug.

Right, happy it works for you. Mine is still broken, basicaly have only 1 weapon set, skills are enabled for both and they keep turning off after the 1st proc. Sth is broken.

Sad it was working earlier today then out of no where I'm not seeing any remnants or meteors dropping. Gonna try the second weapon set idea. Hoping it works

In my case I took out the comet gem of the cast on freeze and reinserted it.

I then could see the skill as activated. withouth the comet gem in the cast of freeze sockets the CoF would not let me activate it stating I hadn't enough spirit.

I'm having the same problem, cast on Freeze gets disabled in my weapon swap. I have no spirit or stats on the weapons so it's not being disabled because of lack of any of those.

I've tried swapping the weapons between the 2 sets, unsocketing and resocketing the gem and supports... But nothing works.
