Why is it like this? (Caps lock key)

Why can't I bind a skill to the caps lock key?

Left side of the keyboard space is at a premium.

Is it a technical thing?

I have the heal pot bound to Lshift and it's really annoying to not be able to put a skill right above it...

First question: Are you using WASD to move? If so, switch that over to ESDF.

WASD became the standard because boys didn't know how to type (even programmers).

Once you do that, you'll have all sorts of real estate all around your hand.

They also blocked some of numpad keys which is not the case in PoE1. Was wondering why they did that.

Nope, Imma strictly click to move.

Use autohotkey to rebind capslock (and any other "protected" keys) to something else. For some reason GGG locks like 40% of the numpad to be nonbindable despite the existence of left-handed people, I haven't run PoE without AHK for a decade.

Rebound while in PoE1 since i started playing it, because GGG needs those keys to not be bindable, because... um. I couldn't tell you, I've been binding them elsewhere.
