Sao Pablo gateway problems (routing problem?)

Since the start of the early access of poe2 I've been having problems with my connection to the sao pablo gateway. The problem goes away if I create 3 or 4 new instances of the area I'm having problems with, and the ping goes from almost 300ms to the 40ms I usually have (the gateway doesn't change, but for some reason, I think the routing to that gateway goes in a different direction?).

I didn't think much of it during the campaign, but now that I'm in maps and also trying to do the trials, it has become a huge problem since I can't create new instances to those zones and the ping stays at around 300ms the entire map/trial.

Maybe blocking some ports could fix it? I'm not an expert, so I'm not sure what to do.

This server location has been talked about a lot in the past. More than often it's been shown it's a routing issue.
