Lost Man Zealot
Adding to the input that the zealots meteor attacks are doing an incredible amount of damage even at maxed fire res. Its a big attack so a lot of damage is expected.
My opinion however is some combination of the following is necessary: 1. Lower overall damage 2. Reduce range that zealots can target from. (often times they are completely off screen giving basically no time to dodge) 3. Reduce the fall speed of the meteor, either giving it a slower descent or more time for a ground indicator to be noticed to feel like a fair amount of time to dodge. As always, game is awesome, keep it up guys! Last bumped on May 13, 2025, 1:52:16 PM

I completely agree with you. Depending on the terrain and other spell effects happening, it’s often incredibly difficult to notice the ground indicator for the meteor. I’ve had plenty of moments where I’m just cruising along in maps, and suddenly—boom—I’m dead to this massive meteor that I had no chance to react to. Every time I die to the meteor, I feel completely cheated. I genuinely don’t even see it coming until it’s too late—it feels unfair.
Some adjustments are absolutely necessary. Slowing down the meteor’s descent and making the ground indicator more noticeable would give players a fair chance to react. Alone, these mobs aren’t too bad, but in the chaos of dozens of mobs and overlapping spell effects, it is too punishing of an ability. |

Adding on to this. I think their windup should be a lot more obvious. It looks like it leads to a meager attack but results in great damage.

I often get one shot or near one shot by this depending on the map modifiers, this monster's damage is too unfair.

40% dmg increase is enough to 1 shot 75% fire res 2800 hp merc.

every time i get hit by that mob i got one shot or survive with like 10% hp and i have 95% fire resist thsi damage has to nerf !!!!!!

The meteor damage is way too big &/or way too long range these are coming off screen without you knowing there are these mobs in the map so it is impossible to avoid getting oneshot by these + energy shield getting nerfed allso wich means there is nothing to prevent this unless these guys get nerfed.. Why is this mob still a problem? Want to keep the high dmg of its attack? Ok. Even with max resists? Ok.
But c'mon...the attack needs to be CLEARLY telegraphed. Especially when in delirium! It feels objectively bad when from my perspective I'm getting a huge chunk of damage removed from an attack out of nowhere. |
