Rage bugs/inconsistencies

I noticed that if you gain rage from ancestral totem linked with font of rage, your rage decays immediately after you leave the area of effect of the font. Although rage should not decay if you gained rage in the past 2 seconds.

The other issue is with gaining rage when you have been Hit by an enemy. So my character is a max block warrior and if you block the Hits, you won't gain any rage. This is inconsistent with the passive Revenge, since the passive trigger even when you block the attack.

+1 Bump, melee has enough peak damage uptime issues without our rage sustain options while not hitting things not actually sustaining out rage.

Either buff the mechanic's baseline decay rate to not vaporize in an instant and make it explicit that font of rage does not restart the rage timer and that only hits that do damage proc "rage when hit", or fix these mechanics to work according to player intuition (which I'm pretty sure is how rage works in PoE1).
rage on being hit not procing on blocked hits definitely has to be a bug. blocked hits have always counted as you still being hit, just the damage is blocked from being applied to you. It shouldn't be acting like evasion where you avoid the hit entirely
