Skill Gem Missing? - POE2

I'm not sure the cause of this bug, but it seems that my primary skill gem managed to despawn, along with the socketed support gems. I fought my way with fireball from the jungle into the temple of chaos to do my 2nd ascendancy trials, but then upon entering the trial noticed that fireball no longer had a keybind. After looking around it seems like it pretty much completely vanished. Not in my stash, not on the ground in any of the previous areas, and I hadn't talked to any vendors recently enough to somehow accidentally move it from the skills page, to my inventory, then vendor it before entering the trials. I was wondering if anybody else has had a similar issue? If so, any resolution? Unfortunately out of support gems due to a minor re-spec and lost my main source of dps, so further progression seems unlikely.

I definitely lost support gems I had socketed into an ascendency class spell (Meditate for monk) when I respec'd out of the spell with supports still socketed.

Yep, I lost mine as well when switching my main ha d weapon to one that had the same skill at a higher level. Pretty dumb they stay essentially "attached" to the item or skill you had them assigned to and don't go back in your inventory or something. Hope they fix this asap. Now my main skill sucks. No support gems.
