Precursor Tablet Circles only show up when checking the map device in the Ziggurat Refuge

When I check the map device in the Ziggurat Refuge, I can see the tablet ranges from the towers I've applied them to:  When I check the map device in my hideout, I don't see the tower range circles:  I asked my buddy to check on his end too, same thing.
