sacrafices life, doesnt take away from mana instead of mind over matter is chosen

I don’t think this is a bug.

Mind Over Matter explicitly states “All Damage is taken from Mana instead of life.” It doesn’t replace the word “life” with the word “mana” on things that are explicitly not “damage” in a game sense.



Sacrificing your life doesn’t count as damage. It’s the same reason why the Demonic Possession Skill of the Infernalist loses life instead of mana.

Damage always causes a loss of life, but loss of life isnt always damage. Notice how it doesn’t have a listed damage type?

Compare it to the Heartbound Loop. The demon stitchers would need similar wording to function as you were intending.
