WEAPON SET Skill Points

Do I really need a second weapon to use or I can switch the set1 to set 2 with the same weapon?

Think we really could have the chance to use the same weapon, sometimes you just want to change you points not you gear.

You don't need to use weapon set two at all. Just spend points as normal.

I mean I want to swap my skill points for mapping/bossing but I want to keep my weapon (since I just have 1). Is it possible?

I would use more AS and MS for map and pure damage for boss (titan here)

You need two weapons, they can be the same thing duplicated (if that's feasible for you) but you have to have a second weapon slotted .. it's the action of swapping weapons that triggers the second set of points.

This mechanic should probably exist. What I'm doing, is moving my weapon to the weapon set two when I fight bosses. And since you can pause you can always reliably do this. But this feels clunky, and could be enabled as a game mechanic. When you only have one set of weapons the weapon swap mechanic could act as if weapon set is duplicated.
