POE2 Bug - Skill Points removed

I went to respec using the hooded figure. i removed a number of skill points and put skill points into other areas. when i clicked confirm i had 2 points that i selected showing as connected, but the 3rd point that branches to these 2 was showing as "unallocated". i had selected the "unallocated" point as well. the three points in question are, teh Heavy Buffer node, the 15% increase energy sheild to its left and to its right. The node to the left was the one showing as unallocated even though the 2 to the right (Heavy Buffer and the other 15% incr. nodes) were showing selected.

i thought maybe if i closed the menu and opened again that it would fix itself... it did not and looked the same. i restarted the game and now the heavy buffer and the node to the right are "unallocated" and i was not refunded the points?!?

Edit: seemingly some of the points I've unallocated are back, so maybe no points lost? I'm supposed to have 106 total and I've counted either 105 or 106 (it's hard lmao).
