Loading crash with dx12 and win11 24h2 solved with Process Lasso

https://bitsum.com/

put balanced mode on active power profile and also limit 2 cores ( 4 threads if possible )

IF this helped you please bump the post so ggg implements the fix to the game. Using 3rd party program to fix this kinda sucks. Also if ggg fixes this please put it in the patch notes so we can stop using the application

Thanks!

Hey thanks for posting this. It has completely solved the issue for me. Not only no crashes, but loading doesn't freeze the gears anymore, super smooth.
No problem. i also had the freeze on load screen. Try blocking some cores also. the crash happens because win11 lets poe2 use all cores and poe2 uses 100% of all cores.

Thank you!
I also got freezes using Vulkan, but much more rarely.
But now I can switch back to DX12.
To err is stupid.
I simply changed to Vulkan. A lot of graphical issues and isntabilities are gone now for me.

Vulkan just puts lower pressure on your cpu thats why you have lower chance to crash at a loadscreeen. i had 1-2 crashes on vulkan per 10 hours.vulkan lowers your overall fps and load times so I still think disabling a few cores is a better experience
Just masking a stability issue with your PC by lowering processing load. GG

You think my pc has the issue and not the game?

my pc is month old with new hardware. the issue appeared with the game to lots of users with amd cpu and 24h2 new win11 update.

Vulkan did not lower my FPS at all. Running at the very exact same VSYnc rate I chose. A lot of graphical glitches also are gone when I use vulkan
