skill flammability - leveling up useless?

Is it intention that leveling this gem does practically nothing?
Mana cost is 50% more .. but upgrading multiple levels wont increase effectiveness even by 5% base level mana 70 radius 1.7m duration 6.4 resistance -32 level 12 mana 110 radius 1.8 duration 6.8 resistance -33 doesnt seems right Last bumped on Dec 14, 2024, 7:56:05 AM

Curses are just terrible in general in poe 2. Only way they feel good is when linked to blasphmey (60 spirit per curse). When you cast manually they cost an obscene amount of mana, they have a delay period before activating, they have a very low duration and they have a slow cast time. They are just awful all around.
