Endgame atlas unconnected nodes/maps

Not sure if I'm missing some dynamites to break the walls here, but these nodes don't seem to be connected to the rest of the atlas...??!!

There clearly isn't a dotted line connecting them and I also can't place any waystone in those nodes, because well I didn't complete any adjacent nodes; because there are non...?

The images should explain it quite well.

Dang, and then they expect us to keep sane..???

So sad we probably won't get a fix this year.

You can take some comfort that most uniques are kind of garbage anyway...
This is starting to get really annoying, and happens often enough that I find it surprising that it made it to the EA. And it's not just single nodes that are being cut off...



EDIT: oh no, just noticed that chunk of cut off nodes in the opening post!

I'll lose my mind it happens to a temple node!

turns out the atlas can end up in a state of being completely enclosed, halting all endgame progression! :-O

It boggles my mind that the layout generation code wasn't confirmed to be robust/fit for purpose before work on making it pretty was started.

Yeah the atlas connections are really, really buggy as f$$$. I also can't grasp why GGG didn't fix this BEFORE their 2 week holiday break!?

I ran into some nodes 2 days ago that should be connected (have a dotted line between them) and I can't click on it for some unknown reason to place a waystone inside. The node should color "light blue" but it doesn't. -> the connected node does say map completed.

It's a clunky and unfinished part of the game, clearly not tested extensively enough before EA release. I hope it will get fixed, or we at least get a reset button or something to 'regenerate" a new atlas.
I was under impression it would be there from the Q&A and content reveal, but so far haven't seen any way to reset the atlas...?

My Endgame is halted. The Copper Citadel is located in an area that is locked out due to nodes being unconnected. The sea blocks the southwest side, while mountains block the northwest and southeast. The northeast and west areas should be reachable, but the gap might be a smidge too broad due to a tiny forest and some cacti. Unfortunately, no pictures are available due to my "caveman PC," aka PS5.
Bumping this ticket.

Having an unconnected node group with 3 towers that I would like to buff but I cannot reach them. There is no water or mountains between the parts of the graph, just flat land.
