Difficulty using tade site on PS5

Yesterday I found an item I wanted to buy on the trade site on the PS5. I clicked the whisper button to start the trade and got a pop-up message about not being able to due to not being in-game. No bother, I click the copy whisper option, go to the chat on the PS5 but the option to paste is greyed out.

I do some research and find on Reddit that it's possible to whisper from the site on mobile (not sure why that would work and PS5 doesn't, but there you go). I log into the site on mobile but can only see the PoE1 trade site, so I log in on my laptop and finally get into the right version. This time I get a message that whisper is sent, but player does not reply. So, I decide to try again, only next, the PoE2 trade site decides to sit on the loading screen all night.

Come on GGG, give us console players a better way of trading.
