After returning to the game after a long while I didn't know how the chat moderation system worked.
I got chat banned tonight for talking smack in trade chat. Deserved.

It was 10 minutes and it displayed my message saying it was a GM. 54 seconds before it expired I reported the other person I was talking with since it appeared that they were not chat banned but I reported their message that contained insults to me, seems fair. I got chat banned for another 10 minutes almost instantly.

That doesn't seem right.

I was unfamiliar with the rules and I still am since, its not clearly listed anywhere on the site. Why is that? I see alot of forum posts and reddit posts and no-one seems to quite know other than it doubles, which is quite concerning for me.

Is there anyway for it to expire over time?
Because I would like to be good and do that option please.

I'm requesting that the ban be erased from my account and that we have a conversation publicly here on the forum rather than privately. Thanks!

I have trouble playing knowing that you can only bury yourself without any chances of redemption. I really would like to be good and have them expire!
