Inspecting Other Players' Inventories

Can we please add the ability to inspect other players' gear/profile when standing around in town?

In other/previous ARPGs and MMORPGs it's really exciting as a new player to walk around towns and inspect other players' inventories and see the really cool gear they have and get a look at the gear you will one day possibly have yourself. It's a great driving force for new players, and helps increase immersion.
Some games have limited the amount of stats viewable by inspecting, but even in those it's cool enough to get to see the item graphic and name. It can be a conversation starter between players of the same class. Gives players the opportunity to "show off" their cool collection of gear or best builds.

I do not see why we shouldn't be allowed to see other players' gear. If concern revolves around players wanting to keep their "build" secret, then just provide the option for players to be "incognito" or "private" or something where they are unable to be inspected.

Personally I find it a bit immersion-breaking to Not be able to "see" what a player (who is standing directly in front of me) is wearing/holding.
