Corpse generation?

There are a lot of skills in this game that require corpses. While this isn't much of an issue with low level mobs, when fighting rares or bosses, this renders them useless. As far as I'm aware, there's no way to generate corpses. Am I missing something?

do dead summons generate corpses? i can use some corpse skills in boss fights

No. You might be getting corpses from a boss that has adds.

In PoE 2 there's a tier 3 support gem called "Sacrifice" that allows you to use your reviving minions as corpses, but it causes them to respawn slower. Unfortunately since it's tier 3 you can't really get it until you're about to the end of the game.
Otherwise if the boss doesn't summon adds you're SOL on anything that requires corpses. |
