Soft-locked in the game at Mektul, the Forgemaster boss fight (POE2)

I killed Mektul after i died to burn damage and when i respawned he was dead and Green axe dropped on the floor. I cant use elevator to descent down and pick it up. So im basically stuck, beacuse even if i restart instance he is dead and axe is waiting for me to pick it up, which i cant. I dont care about no loot, but I would like to continue playing the game

Its not that i cant get out of boss arena, i cant get in. And quest item is in there.

Yep same thing just happened to me.

happened to me too as well. died at the same time when with someone in a party. they couldn't pick it up since they already did the quest. WHen we go back to the checkpoint the trigger to go down is gone.

But I was able to complete this today. Not sure what changed. |
