A game from the year 2000 with visuals from 2024 and microtransactions from 2077

1) The game is extremely slow. It's not what we want to play.
1.1) On what act did the developers themselves quit the game? On the first act? 2) Did the developers try Sanctum themselves? In the second room, a white mob hit for 700 honour and then another one hit for 850 honoree. Even though I have 27% resistance(it's definitely increasing the resistance?) 3) Map generation is terrible. The maps themselves are huge and empty. Map “with wood” - tear my eyes out (it is terrible both visually and it is not clear between which woods you can pass, and between which - texture). 4) You forgot to add the orb of alteration and scouring. Trading white stuff off the floor? Making dozens of purchases for the sake of a dozen attempts? We used to spend thousands of spheres in the normal part of the game. Are you suggesting buying thousands of white items? 5) You forgot to include alchemy spheres drops 6) You forgot to add a workbench 7) The “well” system is useless. 8) There are not enough transitions between maps in the atlas On the bright side. Sorry, I forgot while I was going through the map. 0.1.0) The new stone system is nice 0.1.1) Beautiful visuals (looks like that's where the budget ended) 0.1.2) The mouse glare is visible on the HP and MP indicator!!! The best patch note for the PoE2 would be releasing an expansion for the PoE 1 so we can go back to it.

POE 1 is still a game and POE 2 is another game.
My understanding is this game is not meant to be like POE 1 but entirely new game. Slower, more brutal and unforgiving with shitty boss mechanics. I play D4 for just killing monster and gearing up to feel ridiculously powerful and Lost Ark for boss raids. I don't see POE 2 replacing any of those games. I'm in Act 3, want to kill all the bosses and that's it for me. If the Pynical bosses are anything close to the Act bosses, then its lame. Maybe when it's a year old I will take a look again..but if it's as slow as it is now, then no thank you. |

" They are, the problem is they've learned if you ask nicely or talk politely you get ignored by people who act like themselves. We ALL want more POE, and we ALL want it different -- but many are shocked, as this game was clearly built within ruthless (the least popular game mode they've made). The problem with going back to POE 1, is it's only being developed by a group of 10 people. They essentially have only been giving us improved standard for years now, because of POE 2 development. POE 2 isn't done, and there will be leagues not too far from release. Their goals are as follows. - Make it as hard as possible, then slowly tune it until the bitching stops. - Give us as few drops as possible, then slowly improve them until the bitching stops. In the medical field, this is called "titration", and it's how you find the correct dosage (how apt!). You take the lowest dose and ramp up until you get negative side effects, then you back off a little. GGG has done the opposite. They started by pissing everyone off, and are gonna slowly tune the game to be more forgiving a little bit on all fronts, until the bitching stops (the bitching never stops <3) Between now and first release the games as it is now may be unrecognizable |
