Ascendancy altar not interactable after completing Chaos trials (7 - Cruel) *resolved*

Hey so I completed the chaos trial with the required 7 floors, on completion it appeared that the altar you would usually go to to claim the new ascendancy points was not interactable.

Now I thought fine, I can just do another run no big deal but after I finished the run any other inscribed orbs now tell me that I can no longer claim any ascendancy points for subsequent attempts, is there a way to resolve this?

I attempted the trial again to test and sure enough, I am still not able to collect my 7/8 ascendancy points.

Is there a way to patch the game to check if the trial has been complete vs how many ascendancy points the character has?

i had the same issue

Apologies I see the issue now, it isnt that I am meant to be able both the sekhemah and chaos for ascendancy points each, its the difficulty level that determines when you get the points.

For example, sekhemah requires completing 3 floors for ascendancy points 5/6 and 4 floors for 7/8.
