Gear with spirit doesn't increase my total spirit in my character sheet.

I have 36 spirit, just landed this necklace that has plus 32 spirit. my total spirit doesn't change when i put it on. Anyone know anything about this, or if i'm missing something here.

did you check i saw a skill or or an ascendency skill that nullify sprit on equipment
