Trial of Chaos skippable (with reward) & DX12 crash / FPS issue (temp fix for user)

FPS / Crash Issue: (Using a 4060TI 16gb, 7700, 64gb ddr5.
Game locked to 120fps runs fine majority of the time.
If I use DirectX12 the game crashes sometimes, mostly during loading screens and freezes my entire pc (I have to hold the button to turn it off).
Upon reloading the game my fps will be hardstuck at around 40 and changing any settings will not affect anything. For the majority of my time so far using

The temporary fix:
Go to the character select screen, change the renderer to Vulcan.
Login to your character, then exit the game.
Close the game, and restart your pc.

Launch the game.
If your FPS is is good now in Vulcan, use that it's more stable.
If your FPS is not fixed, continue:
AT THE CHARACTER SELECT SCREEN change renderer to DX12.
Login to your character, then exit the game.
Close the game, and restart your pc.

Your FPS should now be fixed for both DX12 & Vulcan. You will run into this issue again if you choose to continue using DX12.

Why not just use DX11? It runs like trash when anything is happening in the game.

^ This is the most insane issue and temporary work around I have ever had to deal with and it cannot be good for my PC, especially when it crashes and I have to use the button to turn it off, this is the only game I have the issue with, my system is new. Seen plenty of people having this issue I hope it's a high priority.

Trial of Chaos Skippable:
During all this crashing and restarting the game nonsense I had an instance of trial of chaos open, I was at the beginning of the trial (where you choose your first debuff out of the 3, I don't remember if I selected it or not, I don't think I did I believe was just in the tunnel somewhere).
I used a portal back to town and from town I was doing all my logging in and out. After fixing my fps I took a short break, I logged back in and hopped through my portal, huzzah! I'm at the end and being given 2 ascendancy points, I also still have the quest item so I can actually run the trial (no idea currently if it will give me 2 more points)

Not sure exactly what triggered it and I can't replicate, but I guess it's only a matter of time before people figure out how to skip it with the portal. Should probably fix this asap.
