Im going back to PoE 1. PoE 2 feels horribly slow and tedious and i simply dont have fun playing it.

I have over 30 000 hours played in poe 1 since 2012.
I have oveer 50 hours played in poe 2 since last friday.


I played infernalist witch srs. Completed Campagain. Reached maps and my will to play has totaly gone. Game just doesn't feel fun to me in comparison to poe 1.

Poe 2 has much worse systems when it comes to:
-Gearing
-Looting
-Pace/Speed
-Build creation options


PoE 2 made me realise even more how good of a game Poe 1 actualy is.

I wish poe 1 had graphics of poe 2 tho. It would be cool.

I have a lvl 93 character on ruthless setllers in poe 1 and i much rather go back to that aswell as lvl 100 archmage hieropanth on regular settlers and even some standard characters that i could just push delve.

Feel the same. Interestingly enough people where giving D4 shit about endgame as playing the story was great. I felt PoE 2 is excactly the same... story / artwork great... gameplay is a big wtf.

The only good thing about poe 2 atm is the pretty graphics. But it's a waste of 100 GB on your ssd, I'm just gonna wait until it has fun builds to play or never play it at all.

I hear ya but I am still having fun overcoming that slow tediousness. I think thats the goal of POE2... anything can work if you play tedious, methodical and horribly slow but thats not fun like you say. The trick is to find those OP builds that let you zoom zoom.

I scraped my first character a warrior when I couldn't beat the trial to ascend at 20ish and then went infernalist SRS/flamewall like you and I ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED the campaign, did 3-4 maps got bored and retried a warrior... now it was evident either the game was massively nerfed or I have just gotten better but it felt much better the second time... until the warrior got to 20ish again where I have rehit the same wall, I have tried 2h slam, totems and played around with a magma barrier setup...boneshatter exploding packs never gets old but the damage I take has gone massively up where I really really have to pay attention (dodge roll cancel animation after leap slam just feels bad to me)... the packs are still exploding but there doesn't seem to be enough single target damage (maybe once I get hand of god - but even then bosses wont go down like srs) AND unlike the SRS it just takes a lot more focus/skill to play.

I am trying a lightning arrow now to see if that can match the SRS, if it cant I'll try Archmage lightning arc with cast on shock ball lighting (I know triggers just got nerfed but it may still slap).

Other than that, I am hoping druid and huntress get patched in before Christmas >< GGG have been tight lipped on that though.

Whats fun to you? SRS/FLAMEWALL SLAPS soooo hard. Lightning arrow and archmage also supposed to be strong.

Other than that.... yeah illusion of choice when so many ascendancies are under performing (compared to the ones that can plough through the game like its POE1).

This is kinda how I felt. I played just under 2 hours, at about 10 minutes per day. And I tried to give it a chance but for $30 it just seemed like too much money for a game that just doesn't play right, at least for melee.

But I will try again when it is released.

My guy do you perhaps realise that the game version is 0.1.0d, with more than half of the gems, weapon types and 2/3 of the ascendancies missing?

People like you trying to give feedback as if the game is complete is completely useless if you just straight up ignore the context of the game being EARLY ACCESS. you're treating it as if the game is final and that's the opposite of what this feedback forum is for.

Fully agreed. I finished act 3 and i will delete the game. I cant play this shit anymore...

PoE 2 isnt PoE1 and they made this clear. Seems like you have a problem understanding basic communication and this is your main problem. The game is great and the majority agree.
