Progression Block - Large Soul Core

After killing the construct in Jiquanis Sanctum i dropped the large soul core, thinking i could pick it up again, but it vanished. But since i can't get it again form the bossfight i'am progression blocked. When i get to the altar in infested barrens and click it, the animation starts, but nothing happens and i cant progress to the Matlan Waterways.

Anyone knows a workaround or a fix for this problem?
