I feel like lightning sorc is too weak

Act 1 was quite fun, but acts 2 and 3 I became slower and slower clear speed. In act 3 each location takes hour to clear.

There are many lightning buffs but they all require you to stand still and take time to be casted, which makes them impossible to use vs bosses.

I was thinking that maybe I'm missing something, but visiting reddit showed that most lightning sorc players either play spark + flamewall or swap to cold.

But I wanted to play pure lightning. Seems it's not viable now. I'm not sure if I'll be able to beat at least 3 acts with lightning sorc. It looks like I can't even handle bosses now. I hoped that Ball of Lightning with Cast on Shock will be a game-changer, but it doesn't. Cast on Shock is nerfed to the ground and Ball itself is not better than Arc.

Lightning completely sucks. I also went for lightning, but then changed to frost at the end of act three, although I had a +70% lightning damage staff and 4 lightning skill gems 3-linked.

Frost damage then was still way better with 2-linked gems and without the +70% damage and it also didn't take as much mana. It was the only way I had at least some chance to beat Viper Napuazi.
