Well done with breaking the Cast-On builds

I'm done now.
Not even going to try anything else.

I was already suffering from trying to proc the cast-on-crit efficiently with 53% crit, and now you nerfed it to obliteration.

Now I gain 1 energy per crit
I have 94% energy gain modifier
I need 300 energy
Which means I need to so about 150 crits to proc my Cast-On-Crit.


Should I self-cast the high-lvl cold spell Cast-on-Winter? No way man, I can't kill anything with that. It has the damage of a potato.

Should I self cast comet? No way man, it has the cast time of a refrigerator, mobs will dodge and kill me while I'm casting.

Litterly the only spels that does damage now is comet, cold snap (freeze is also broken now) and Lightning warp? Which requires lightning ball, which is also a pain.

There is not a single playable skill as a caster.

Well, Sorc is literally Archmage or reroll/quit now, everything else is miserable.

These sorc nerfs are crazy.
Ranger and merc still have ridiculous dmg and crazy abilities but soon as any spell class gets anything good it always gets nerfed into the ground.
Elementalist was horrible in PoE1 and now they're doing the same thing in PoE2.

I think whowever put cast on crit in the game didnt talk to his boss. Clearly they just dont want it in the game. It was hidden as a high lvl spell with eye of winter. So they just never tried it
Im sad cause casting comet with cast on felt good. Meteor in poe 1 was such a let down compare to this. But the worst offender is the ascandancie for evoker granting 35% meta energy. Completly useless now. Im really questionning their decisiom seeing all the tool in game lwaning toward a certain achetype

Yep, stupid decision.
I am not going to re-roll at level 55.. All the exciting builds for a sorc caster is gone, you now have to scale max-mana and stand in 3 buffzones to do damage. Fucking ridiculous...

The Nerv hit triggerbuilds way to hard. It seems there are no viable triggerbuilds there atm. The whole evoker part of the evoker ascendancy seems deleted.
At least give us a complete respec including ascendancy respec.

Level 50 here as well... tried to reroll, but nope. Too much time spent on a difficult character already, but now bricked.

GG, GGG! Out as well. They'll begin to lose a lot of people with such decisions
