[poe2 0.1.1] [crashing bug] Cross play crashes players in a party

Issue:

PC and/or PS5 players intermittently crash after someone in a party teleports or is resurrected. Happens more than 75% of the time.

This issue has not happened a single time for over 30 hours while in parties with other PC players (Steam only, could not find any non-Steam players).

I do not have a PS5 but all the PS5 people I play with said they never crash when in a party with each other (I cannot verify this, but I did ask every PS5 player I played with).

How to replicate:

Repeatable across multiple PC players (steam players only on PC, could not find PC players not on steam) and multiple PS5 players:

1. Have PC players join PS5 players in a party. Works also if PS5 players join PC party. Any number of PC or PS5 players - even just one from each is enough.

2. This step is unclear, but here are the things that randomly trigger it:

2.a Have the PC player teleport home (Also works when teleporting to PS5 player from the party teleporter, or if the PS5 player creates a portal, enter it)

2.b Have the PC player enter a new map from the current one

2.c Have the PS5 player resurrect themself after party wipe

2.d. Have the PS5 player teleport home

3. One of four things will now happen

3.a (RARE) nothing unusual

3.b All PC players crash

3.c All PS5 players crash

3.d One or more random players crash

4. When PC players log back in, the game will immediately crash

Note on #4: This crash on login seems to be fixed as of ~24 hours ago -- BUT if you are still experiencing this problem:

Switch to a new character (create a second one if you need to), then switch back. Another fix that I personally did not verify was if the party kicks you before you login, it apparently fixes it -- so the theory is that switching characters forces your crashed character out of party.

Edit:
I forgot to add that when PC crashes, the game disappears. In some cases the visuals freeze but the sounds keep playing, you can keep hearing the combat. Pressing ESC (escape key) immediately forces the game to crash.

I do not know what happens on the PS5 when it crashes, I would assume the game just exits - but from my side it says the player went offline.

Yup.... Still crashin. After about 30 sec after joinin a ongoin map. Teamamte plays on PS5.

2 friends of mine play on PS5. I play on PC. They keep crashing no matter what.
Like joining instance and instantly get booted. Either with campaign or mapping.
Im on Amsterdam Gateway, they are both from UK and are on London Gateway. They say they cant change gateway on PS5. Havent tried to set gateway to London myself to see if that stabilize connection but that feels like a long shot. Of all the crashes, i never did crash the game when they did.. its always been my friends on PS5 that crash the game.

Interesting. If you toggle the map to large mode, on the top right it should give you the instance. You can do this after joining party - I wonder what it would tell you.

Happens all the time with my friend on XBox and me on PC .... when I play with others on PCs does not happen. I used a different computer and still crashes.

This happens 100% of the time for my husband and I. I'm on pc and he's on PS5. I'm the one that crashes to desktop after trying to warp to him. To fix he has to kick me from group and we rejoin. Takes a couple tries for us to actually manage grouping.

We don't crash after we manage to join together.

I have dowmleveling disabled.

Not specific to cross platform. It's happening to me as well, both of us are on PC through Steam and I still crash.

It doesn't matter who's party leader, I always seem to be the one crashing.

This is new - I have played with dozens of people and never crashed with people on PC.

There must be something else going on here...
