Ancient Vows bug via user error

Hi -

I completed Ancient Vows on normal, went fine.

I got both relics on cruel but then accidentally went to the normal shrine without realizing it. I was tired and dragged both pieces on top of the relic icons and they disappeared.

The quest on cruel still is at the 'find out what to do with the relics' cue but I don't have the relics any more. I ran Bone Pits and Keth to try and get them again but they don't drop b/c the game thinks I have them still.

Any way to put the relics in my inventory or at the least reset the quest?

I have don't exactly the same. I wasn't drinking.

Bsically I didn't realise you had to hold ALT down to interact properly with the rune holder.

So I tried ACT 2 normal difficulty and that rune holder accepted the sun rune and ate it. Causing the game to flag I had the rune drop still but it had been eaten by act 2 so now will no longer drop.

Pretty buggy having to hold alt down and also that the runes from act 5 also work in act 2 but get destroyed. Hopefully someone will look at this soon.

I can reproduce same behaviour, had 3 relics (2 normal and one cruel) in the inventory, tried to solve cruel quest first, tried inserting relics, one wasn't accepted, fiddled around and one of the the cruel relics was destroyed in the process. (no confirmation message, pretty sure)

The i finished the normal quest, but now i'm stuck on queststep "insert relic" on cruel, but no new relic is dropping in keth for me.

Looks like a problem with the questflags.
