Lost all my characters in PoE 2 (probably my fault)

I'm not sure whether it was the update or me merging my pc and sony account, but now when I log in to PoE2 I'm taken to create a character immediately. I assume it's because of me merging my account but I can't be sure. I've made a new character and went to character select and there's no characters there besides the one I made. I have deleted that character since I don't think I will be playing for awhile if I can't get my previous account back.

Ah never mind, there was an option to swap accounts after making a character on the top right in character select. I don't think I saw that option on controller but I tried today on keyboard and mouse. Happy that all my progress is still saved.

Holy crap I had to restart the game it’s there now I see it with right stick click it let me switch to my other account wow I thought I lost it for good thank god!!! Wow they need to better explain that wow!

I'm glad to hear you were able to resolve this! I'll pass the feedback about this along to see if we can see about making the sub-account switching process clearer. :)
