Online Filter Support for GeForce Now Users

Currently, players using GeForce Now to play Path of Exile 2 face certain restrictions, as they cannot modify files to apply item filters. For this reason, they can only use filters that are available online.

To enhance the experience for these users, we suggest that the development team consider adding an official online filter feature. This would help ensure that all players can enjoy POE 2 on equal terms, regardless of the platform they use.

We appreciate your attention to this suggestion and hope the community will support this initiative as well. Thank you for your support!

I didn't realize so many people paid to rent someone elses CPU power. crazy that it took off. Is the latency bad? Could be useful if you don't have a computer to run it im sure.

It's actually pretty good, but yeah - you do need a good and stable internet connection, especially if you want to stream it in 2k or 4k resolution. It does not have to be 1Gbps, but true and actual 50+ Mbps is highly suggested.

Latency between Nvidia servers and PoE servers is usually around 2-5ms (they are using same physical datacenter locations with interconnect options or internal routing), and if you are able to get 20-30ms to Nvidia servers or so - then it is completely playable.

I've been playing WoW on EU servers with 35-45ms since ever, and even played for quite some time on US servers from EU with 120-140ms. For these kind of games, unless you go very competitive - it is fine and playable.

For 20 pound/mo you get a maxed rig with 3090, and you can play from anything - macbooks, smart tvs, anything that has a web browser. Internet connection is your only limitation here.

So if we take current exchange rate of 1 GBP = 1,25 USD / 1,20 EUR, the service is around 25 USD / 24 EUR for Europe. Average good gaming rig with 3090 is gonna cost you around ~1,5-2k USD/EUR (roughly) - that is 60-80 months of subscription to GFN, or 5-6 years.
thanks for the response. Had no idea this was really a thing or how it worked. Hopefully they get some support for you guys in time.
Step 1 is to self reflect.
Or if GGG could pre-load 2-3 general filters from creators, I would be super happy with those. With a warning, that you use them on your own risk.

Thanks
