Attack/spell hybrids and meta skill improvements

For me as an Invoker Monk who choose to play around Lightning and divide Weapon Swap points between spells and attacks I see only 3 ways to play as it means:
- Manually cast spells and attacks. Meh but okay, there is very few combos to make. Maybe after release with new skills it would be better. May be useful: Tempest Flurry + Orb of storms (somewhat bad bc you stay in one place), Spells for shock and Attacks to consume shock for damage or vice versa (also somewhat bad bc you cant effectively shock without enough damage, may be good with big investments). - Use Meta Cast on Shock/Dodge. Useful only with Conductivity Curse or Voltaic Mark as it uses your attack damage so this is not for attack/spell hybrid and no benefits from Weapon Swap. Very bad for any other damaging with spells bc you cant choose your staff/wand to cast these spells. Even +70% from "increased Spell damage while wielding a Melee Weapon" tree don't cover the damage loses from not using the staff. Please, make "Cast on *" more useful with attack/spell Weapon Swap! - Use Meta Invocation skills. Yea, you can generate Meta Energy with both spells and attacks if you choose both weapon set for Meta gem and only staff for invoked Spells, but I really don't understand why you need to MANUALLY swap your weapons to use Invoke ability. Adding here the fact that you can't quickly swap during any attack, spell or dodge and in a result we get this to be useful only before you enter close combat.
