Zalmarath, The Colossus 1 shot bug

I encountered while playing Path of Exile 2 in Hardcore mode. My character is a Level 29 Warrior with the following stats:
Life: 808
Armor: 64% Damage Reduction
Fire Resistance: 73%

During a fight with the boss Zalmarath Colossus, I was instantly killed by what appeared to be a dagger skill, despite my defenses. After switching to Standard mode and retrying the fight under the same conditions, the damage received was much less severe, even when hit multiple times consecutively by the same attack.

Died 3 times with HC warriors with that sliding sword move, it gives me sickness.

Sometimes it does 50-100 dmg, until the one shot is coming. Sometimes from miles away.
