Client crash - Dusk Vigil Ashen Staff (Unique)

Dusk Vigil Ashen Staff causes the game client (PC) to crash. May have something to do with dodging.

It's inconsistent so I'm not exactly sure how it happens. I have to use it for about a minute before the client will crash.

I played Blood Mage, spamming Fireball.
Active buffs: Life Remnants
Active minions: none
Other Uniques equipped: none

The last client crash occurred in the middle of a dodge roll. Perhaps the game is trying to generate Embers mid-dodge but there's something preventing it?

It definitely has something to do with the staff though because I never had crashing problems with the game until I started using the staff.

I can confirm this happens to me as well.
It only started since I started using the staff in act 3.
