Game crashes when fighting Rust King

Shortly after summoning him, the game stagers a bit, then dumps me to desktop. This has happened each of the four times I've logged back in. I find I can doge away and run if I'm quick enough, but as soon as he's back on my screen again it crashes.

After logging in 12 times, getting in a couple hits before crashing, I was able to finally kill him. No subsequent crashes.

I've also been having the same issues. I've tried at least 6 different times. Once I was able to load in and the boss despawned and I was able to walk around without an issue. As soon as I summoned the boss, it worked fine, then when I went to hit him, it crashed instantly. Some logs:
