Reviving coop players is broken
It takes way too long to revive a teammate. It is basically impossible to do during a boss fight because it is impossible not to get hit, which interrupts the revive. It would be much more reasonable for this to be cumulative such that you can revive a someone in small steps while trying to stay alive,

Minus the incoming patch fixes. This is my only other complaint. Rez time is rough. Maybe keep the time but allow 1 death before having to be rezzed?
Also outside of boss fights just in campaign you have to rez friends and they cant rez till you die or kill everything. |

Cumulative rez time would be perfect, and perhaps increased rez speed when out of combat

So the issue here is a misunderstanding.
Play the game solo, you die, you loose reset the boss Play in a group (i am assuming there is some drop scaling) do the boss, die, get rezzed, die, get rezzed die get rezzed, boss dies and you have cheesed the fight and gained loot that if you were solo you would not have got. then there is the whole bot and multi box thing. In the coop situation (and I think it's mostly a 2 person coop issue as I hear when there are more it is easier to rez) your partner just has to sit there and watch the fight and not learn, or get invloved unless the other player(s) die/suicide... and suiciding for the sake of it doesn't seem like it was the intended purpose. It needs something right now. Maybe keep it to 1 rez only for the entire team, and just reduce the timer to rez, or give us more i-frames during rezzing but again, cap the rez to 1 only? |
