PoE 2 - Couldn't pick up the Molten Vault boss' loot

Ran into an edge-case where I used Killing Palm on Mektul to cull him and got stuck in the magma flow as it solidified, I think. I couldn't move at all to go pick up the Hammer for Oswald's quest, and after clicking 'Respawn at Last Checkpoint' the boss falls over, but the lift to go down to the arena isn't functional anymore. I'll try just going through the vault again as he was a fun boss anyway, but worth noting.

fix it or not?

I had the exact same problem. I logged out to character select and when I got back in, I was in the same spot in the boss arena but could finally move and pick up the loot. Very relieved, didn't want to have to fight him again.
