3 mushrooms quest is locked after act 3 completion

After completing act 3 and into cruel act 1 i went back to finish the quest in the apex of filth, but it is inaccessible after. I Still have the mushrooms and cannot do anything with them.

Additionally you are not able to use portals in riverbanks cruel act 1 means needing to go through it again to get to the town you have already been to.
(kinda lame)

In addition — I dropped the mushrooms in Cruel Act 1 as I needed the inventory space and now I wanted to go back and none of them are spawning for me in Apex of Filth. I’ve played through two instances and didn’t get one mushroom.

Same with the sacrificial heart if you drop it and the trials of chaos if you miss it.

Update, you can apparently go back to the first part of the act 3 if you open a portal from the waterways (the pre-encampment area in cruel act 1). Was able to get my ascendancy points but haven't been able to respawn the sacrificial heart yet.

Another update, apparently going back to the first half of act 3 locks you out of going to the second half. Fucking hell
