I respecced out of Elemental Storm and it ate my support gems

I'm playing stormweaver, and I wanted to try the shock node instead of using Elemental Storm. I accidentally specced out of the node without taking the support gems out of Elemental Storm. That was my fault, granted, but I assumed it would be the same as when you un-socket a skill gem and all the support gems go into your inventory with it, but the support gems I had in Elemental Storm are just gone. I'd spec back in to see if the support gems come back or they're just gone, but I don't have enough gold to respec ascendancy points anymore.

Same happened to me. I did spec back into the storm and all 3 support gems were gone. Unspecing ele storm just deletes socketed support gems

Here to confirm this as well. Specced out of Ele storm and gems did not show up in my inventory. Specced back in and all gem slots were empty.

My gems were eaten :(

Also when re-speccing into it again the skill "Elemental Storm" isn't being shown in the list of skills on the left hand side when using an uncut support gem.

22/12/24 still happening this bug T.T

Confirming this buy still exists as of Dec 26, 2024. Reproduced by unspecing Elemental Storm without removing the support gems first. All support gems were deleted and cannot be found in stash or inventory.
