Contagion + Essence Drain not spreading on hit.

Something didn't feel right farming mobs here in Act 2. It was working as intended before the patch. I thought I was going crazy. It was only spreading after death of the mob or my infected minion hit the enemy.

I just confirmed that hitting an enemy that's infested w/ contagion is NOT spreading to nearby mobs after it's hit with essence drain.

Anyone else having this issue?

I think that's how it's supposed to work.

ED is spread with contagion when the skill kills the target. Basically when contagion spreads, it will bring any ED debuff with it, refreshing both debuffs on the new target.

It does not spread on the ED hit.

Can confirm, the in-game video description also indicates that it should spread on hit not upon the target dying. Skill is definitely bugged like 70% of the game.
