Ancient Aegis annointment not giving any Energy Shield from Body armor

Annointed amulet with Ancient Aegis, and I'm not gaining any extra Energy Shield from by body armor. 2677 Energy Shield with and without amulet equipped, body armor has 464 Energy Shield.
