Monk Elemental invocation Meta not working

Monk Elemental invocation Meta gem not working. I can build up energy to 100% then nothing triggers the socketed spells. I have changed out the spells a number of times to find the issue to no avail.

How do you even equip skills to be triggered? Does it have to be a non-monk skill?

It's a meta spirit skill gem. It's has sockets where other skills have support gems sockets except these can have spells socketed in. When the conditions of the gem are met it builds energy and casts the socketed spells with it. This works with other meta gems like cast on shock but this monk meta gem is not working correctly. It builds energy but doesn't trigger the spells.

I can trigger then myself by assigning it to to a button but it then uses my mana to cast as well instead of the meta energy.

Its not very clear to me.

If I'am correct:

- you have to socket the skill you want to trigger as if it was an actual skill you swant to use
- you have to putt that skill also as a bind in the bar
- you have to cast the skill yourself


Whats the point then to have Elemental Invocation ? Elemental Invocation do not allow me to also putt support gem like Spell Cascade is it normal ?

I get it now. But what's the purpose of having this skill then? Just an added skill slot?

Elemental Invocation is bugged. I have attached spells to it, but I cannot activate the skill even whilst reaching 100% energy. I've tried swapping spells, swapping weapon sets, deleting the skill and using another spirit gem to get it again. The only spell working is "Solar Orb", but I can't use any others. Also having this problem with "Cast on Ignite" where I can't even activate it because it says I don't have enough Spirit even though it costs 60 and I have 96. Burned so many spirit skill gems and I can't use any meta skills...
