POE 2 - Operation cannot be completed when using unucut gem

I am attempting to use an uncut gym that dropped in Tomb of Consort. Trying to create Profusion support, however, when I click on engrave I get a message saying operation cannot be completed.

Unsure if I am missing a requirement for it or if its a bug. If I am missing a requirement for it then perhaps a clearer message would be better.


Edit: I see that dex gems are at 3/3. Missed that, however I still believe a more descriptive error message would be more suited for this case.
