Lifesprig requires level 66 / wand skills

I just dropped a Lifesprig during mapping, thinking "nice, if I level another char I can use this". Well, I cannot. Because for some reason wands have skills on them, the skill level is determined by the item level, and a ilvl 68 lifesprig grants a level 16 mana drain, so the wand can only be used with minimum level 66...

This makes leveling uniques (or wands/sceptres/staffs at least) completely useless, unless you actually drop them in the first 2 or 3 zones.

just a suggestion on the subject, as this was mentioned in the interview with Ziz.

Let Lifesprig always drop as a low level item and give us the possibility to increase the level of the implicit skill with uncut skillgems if we want to.
Which in return would of course raise the level requirement.

Whether the number of support sockets is adjusted directly or we can use jeweler's orbs is certainly a matter for discussion.

Or just remove ilvl for uniques beyond prereq for it to drop and let weapon granted skills on uniques auto level.
You know, the way legendary effects worked in the dungeon crawl game genre since its inception unless the game let you 100% deterministically add that specific skill level.
