Unique item not working: Jarngreipr Ringmail Gauntlets

Item text says: Strength can satisfy other attribute requirements of Melee Weapons and Melee Skills.

My (level 8) warrior has strength 32, so according to above text should be able to use any level 8 or less melee weapon with Str/Int/Dex requirements of 32 or less.

i.e. I have a normal quarterstaff with a Dex req of 10, but my dex is only 7. Normally, I would not be able to equip it, however the above text says that while wearing the gauntlets I should still be able to equip it, but I cannot.

am also having this issue. are yours corrupted by chance?

same here, hopefully this gets patched soon

it works if I insert a new gem, but I cant upgrade the gem I'm currently using...
