Have you ever played a pay-to-win game? Honestly, playing a pay-to-win game without spending a single cent is like willingly putting yourself into ultra-hard mode. It’s a real test of patience: terrible drops, endless grinding, and that constant feeling that everyone else—the “whales” splashing cash—are light-years ahead of you.
Sure, theoretically, everything is achievable for free. But the price? Your time. You’ll spend hours grinding the same missions, praying for better items, or painstakingly leveling up your character - almost like the game has a little devil on your shoulder whispering, “Come on, just spend a few bucks, and it’ll all get easier.”
The way the Game feels right now it looks to me like it will get Gold and Currency Orb Packs. Its tedious and not rewarding. Respecing is way to expensive for all the changes and the fact that we are playing an early acces beta.
Is there any statement from GGG about this topic or is it just me that feels some big changes coming up from tencents influence?

are you mental? GGG sells MTX and stashes. Why would they change the money printing scheme and piss of their player/customerbase?

Tencent has historically been very hands off.
They are a holding company.
They do not take companies and their management over.
They hold them as a form of investment.
Tencent won't make PoE P2W.
Whatever decisions GGG makes if their profitability is at stake is a different discussion but if you're worried - go buy some supporter packs.

Nothing get easier with spending money in this game, not any cosmetics will make the game easier. Sure storage tabs makes quality of life better, but nothing you pay for makes this game easier

lol, yes they will go against 12 years of consistent track record of not doing this. We totally need a statement they've already made 3000 times in the past decade.

nono i was talking about the current state of the game. Otherwise i cant see the horrendous use of gold for respecing and item bases from vendor compared to how much we get ingame

Why they would do that when PoE 1 still exist? It doesn't make any sense to make PoE 2 P2W.

You are so far off point, I am not even sure how to accurately respond to this notion that the game is P2W... What are people buying that is giving them a better edge over yourself—otherwise, they look prettier than you?

I get where you're coming from, Tencent buys whatever they think is a good investment and....that's basically it.
Unfortunately P2W game factories tend to be pretty good investments so yeah they sure do own a lot of them.
Tencent has a very different business model from say Activision who buy studios as "acquisitions", 'consolidate' the staff and milk the franchise to death.
In some cases, they actually have a POSITIVE impact - prime example is Epic games, it was Tencent who pushed Epic to release the Unreal engine for free to small studios. (The again, given what a micro stuttering mess it can be, maybe that was a curse)
