Ascendance glitch

Hey yall, i really like this game but it does not function and i am about to quit if someone doesn't at least tell me what is happening and what i can do about it.
It is regarding the third ascendance not working, I started a gimbya with 3 trials, on the last trial i looted a chest which 1 shot me through 2000 honor and 2k hp and 3k energy shield AT LAST trial before the boss, which i guess is on me, i get it.
Then i got a 7 trial Ultimatum that i just cleared, it says trial complete, but clicking on the statue only gave me loot and nothing else, which was stated by streamers and reddit posts to be the alternative to unlock your third ascendance besides a 3 trial gimbya/sanctrum. I am losing motivation since whatever is supposed to grant me my progress failed to do so? WHAT TO DO.
